Burns Statue Square
Ayr, Scotland
At the Station Hotel you'll find all the virtues of the Scottish way of life. The
bedrooms have every modern luxury you'd expect - auto-dial telephones, colour TV,
satellite, tea and coffee making facilities, clock radio and hair dryer. There is also
plenty of free car parking.
Premier Plus rooms are finished to an even higher standard. They provide extra advantages
like teletext TV, mini-bars, trouser presses, personal toiletries and a welcome drink.
Regular guests choose them very often for the longer stay or business needs.
The lounge and restaurant are truly fine rooms, built with great skill and elegance;
frankly to a standard impossible for the average hotel company to afford in the late 20th
century. The Cocktail bar and the Piano bar have a tremendous selection of mouthwatering
whiskies.
There is a choice of three conference rooms - and we've got overhead projectors and flip
charts, teaching walls, screens and video machines; anything we haven't got, we'll get if
you want it. Any number up to 160, a fine beech dance floor and the gourmets will say nice
things about the food.
Guests can use all the latest physical fitness equipment absolutely free in the leisure
club, which boasts a sauna, steam room and sunbed. You can also recover, or ruminate on
the importance of exercise, in the snug and well stocked bar nearby.
